Hey Lovelies!

Did you step outside this morning and discover your face was so cold it almost hurt? Lovely huh? Now is the time for some TLC. So, go and treat yourself to that gorgeous winter coat. Some key trends this autumn/winter are chic and stylish bourgeois (tailoring and trench coats), cool checks and faux fur. Check out these truly elegant and tailored coats that will keep you  warm and looking fabulous until Christmas.

Be cosy, warm and oh-so stylish with this fitted silhouette multi-coloured check print coat. Ticking all the boxes, this gorgeous double-breasted coat draws inspo from Dior and Gucci for autumn/winter 2019. Team with some sassy long black boots and you’re good to go!

2.Faux Fur Collar Coat, £90, www.oasis-stores.com

Faux fur was all over the autumn/winter runways this year and the trend is guaranteed to keep you looking chic and toasty warm too. This beautiful faux fur collar coat is the perfect choice for those who prefer a nod to the slightly androgynous trend rather than a full-on faux fur vibe. Available in both mid-neutral and mid-grey shades.

3.New Look Belted Tailored Coat In Light Grey, £49.99, www.asos.com

Tailored cuts and trench coats are set to stay on-trend for winter (much to my relief). I absolutely adore this tailored coat by New Look. Team with a cute dress, jeans or trousers – this coat basically goes with everything! Win, win!

4.Belted Wool Look Trench Coat, £44 (Was £55), www.boohoo.com

This has to be my most favourite of them all – I’m thinking it’s a divine mash-up of David Koma and Marc Jacobs. I do not even need to say anything – just do what I did: look at the picture, drool for 5 seconds, check size and availability, order so quickly it’s like your life depends on it. Then breathe a sigh of relief, feel a sense of sheer accomplishment and sit on the floor by your door until the postie arrives! Job done.

Check Out These Key Spring/Summer 2019 Trends You Can Buy In The Sales

Hey Lovelies!

With the commencement of 2019 well underway, it’s time to check out the key trends for S/S 2019. Before you rush out to buy some skinny jeans in the January sales, check out what’s going to a fashion hit this year and grab yourself some spring/summer fashion items at a bargain price. A top tip is to look for items of colour (especially beige varieties and pastels), the boho style, suits and wide legged trousers (all set to be key fashion trends this year)).

1.Above-Knee Split Skinny Jeans: Blue Sinner High Waisted Side Split Skinny Jeans, £11 (Was £28), www.missguided.co.uk

Whilst there appears to be no end in sight for the skinny jeans trend, 2019’s look will encompass the above-the-knee or higher split rip. Should you wish to God not to have to squeeze into another pair as long as you live, you will be pleased to know that flares will still have a huge place. Phew!

2.Sequins: 2 In 1 Chiffon Top Sequin Skirt Bodycon Dress, £26.25 (Was £32), www.boohoo.com

The party season may have come and gone (sadly), but (love them or hate them)), sequins are set to stay. Make a statement in this gorgeous 2-in-1 bodycon dress which is so on-trend and will remain so for the foreseeable.

3.Zebra Print: Zebra Print Tote Bag, £11.19 (Was £15.99), www.newlook.com

Animal print has been just about everywhere (to the point where I’m wondering whether we are all in fact about to embark upon safari). I’m not a huge lover of this trend, but it’s going nowhere. This year leopard print will remain solid, but there’s a new animal in town and it’s the zebra. If, like me, you are not a massive fan, why not simply nod to the trend by way of a sassy tote such as this one you can pick up in the sales?

4.Floral: Floral Print Random Self Tie Cami Dress, £8.99, www.shein.co.uk

Now this is a trend I can get on-board with. Channelling my inner hippie, I am all about the flower-power vibe – and there’s nothing better than the sun shining on a beautiful floral dress to make you feel good. Versace is so right! Big bold statement prints are going to be a hit so why not dazzle in this gorgeous dress by Shein – and only £8.99. #Happydays.

5.Western Boots: Freya Stitch Detail Cowboy Boots, £20 (Was £35) Boohoo.com

There’s something truly awesome about cowboy boots (every time I buy some I feel like I should definitely be living the cowgirl dream in America). Oh well, I will have to settle for wearing some cool boots for now – and there is nothing better than a pair of these little gems. Team them with a floral dress (see above). #Lovethesales. #Lovingthetrend!

6.Satin and Lace Trends: Asos Design Tailored Occasion Satin Single Breasted Blazer, £38.50 (Was £55), www.asos.com

I am so happy that lace and satin are two key material trends for spring/summer. They instantly transform your look into one of sexy sassiness and they feel SO GOOD! Satin and suits are going to be massive this season, so now that I have found this I will be looking for the satin trousers – and my life will be complete!

What are your favourite SS 2019 trends? Have you bought any bargains? Let me know in the comments below and have a happy Friday! xx
