Discover The Best Camouflage Makeup Around: Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Maximum Cover

Hey Lovelies!

I was recently given Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for Face and Body to try. This concealer makeup provides the ultimate coverage. Literally transforming the look of my skin, it allows me to wear pretty much whatever summer clothes I choose without feeling self-conscious at all (well, to a point anyway). Discover why Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Maximum Cover is the best camouflage makeup around.

Okay, here’s the deal: should you have acne scars, age spots, blemishes, bruises, pigmentation, sun spots, varicose veins, or basically any imperfection (let’ face it, who the HELL doesn’t?) that you wish to conceal, this is a must-have product. Gone are the days where you opt for tights or trousers and a day that is too el scorchio for words, for fear of displaying those imperfections. Thank you, Estee Lauder – you are a true hero brand!

For Body:

This liquid formula works incredibly well on the body. Making fast work of hiding away all imperfections, the product can even be used post-surgery. It offers a natural-looking matte finish that is both water-proof and will last all day without the worry of streaking. One point I should make is DO NOT apply this without a blender / blending brush. For this I chose my fave blending tool ever – Iconic London’s Blender. Do not make the mistake of thinking it will be fine without one – a blending tool is vital!

For Face:

Available in 14 different shades, this makeup is a true colour matching gem. I opted for the shade, Dawn. The liquid cover blends in seamlessly and achieves flawless results you will love. My skin is quite dry, and I have enlarged pores. Should anyone else suffer a similar fate, my advice is to thoroughly moisturise with a hydrating formula pre-application, also adding a primer. Additionally, you should be applying the product to your face with your blender too. Failure to follow those steps will result in a shabby-looking finish that looks worse (i.e cakey or exaggerated pores) rather than better. Also, you may not notice this until you step outside (and happen to have a pocket mirror with you)!

Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Maximum Cover contains aloe leaf to nourish and sooth, soybean oil (to neutralise free radicals) and vitamin E to further protect.

In summary, Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Maximum Cover is awesome!

Has anyone else tried this amazing product and what are your thoughts? Leave me a message in the comments below. Have a great week people!

Discover The Best Makeup Setting Sprays Of 2018

Hey Lovelies!

Today I’m sharing with you the best makeup setting sprays.

The festive season is in full swing and you’ve got back-to-back parties for the foreseeable, which means Instagram and social media are about to be flooded with pics. So, you want to look A-mazing? This year, it would be great to avoid any dodgy-looking pics taken just a few hours into the event, in which liner seems to have gone for a swim underneath your eyes (taking the smudged look to a whole new level) and any foundation has slipped from your face like you’ve been standing in a melting pot. Not a good look! This party season, we want serious staying power – but we don’t have to resort to the spray on plaster in the bathroom cabinet. Here are the best setting sprays that are incredible at ensuring your makeup remains flawless all evening.

1.E.L.F. Matte Magic Mist & Set, £5, www.elfcosmetics.co.uk

As a huge fan of E.L.F. Cosmetics foundation and primer, I couldn’t wait to give their Magic Mist Setting Spray a try – it did not disappoint. Makeup acquires a gorgeous matte finish and stays firmly in place for a good 8 hours – which is unbelievable for me given that makeup seems to just evaporate to the point where it looks like I hadn’t even bothered applying any to begin with. Major result!

2.Kat Von D Lock-It Makeup Setting Mist, £17, www.debenhams.com

Being a newbie to Kat Von D products I was keen to try out this setting spray. This works a treat in creating a gorgeous matte finish and (most importantly) locks your makeup to your face like it has some kind of invisible super power. You can party the night away and still take some filter-free pics on your ride home. I love this!

3.NYX Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray, £7. nyxcosmetics.co.uk

When I read about the woman who claimed her makeup stayed put (using NYX Setting Spray) throughout the trauma of a car crash, I wasn’t surprised. For me, this setting spray has serious gluing power, provides a beautiful matte finish and instead of nipping to the club toilet and cowering in sheer horror at your ‘Freddie Kruger-like’ reflection (obviously from seeing a face of smeared makeup, not blood), your flawless complexion is, well, actually PERFECT! NYX, I love you!

4.Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray, £24, urbandecay.co.uk

When it comes to makeup Urban Decay set their standards to a truly professional level (which is probably why they charge that much more). Urban Decay’s Setting Spray ticks all the boxes (no setting into lines and caking, or fading) and your makeup looks as if you had just applied it -even when you’ve gone from work to a party and then danced your ass off of 3 hours straight! To be fair I haven’t tested it after 16 hours (yet) but the party season has only just begun.
