My Favourite Beauty Finds Of The Week: 6 Amazing Buys!

Hey Lovelies!

Each week I am sent various beauty items to test and review. It’s seriously the best job ever! After arduously checking out many, the following 6 beauty finds offer star-like qualities and are a must-have for anyone who loves beauty and a bargain. #Happy!

1, Max Factor Pan Stick (In Cool Copper), £5.47, www.amazon.co.uk

This isn’t the first time I have tried (and loved) Max Factor’s foundation stick and it certainly won’t be the last! Having tested pretty much every concealer and foundation on the market, this one keeps a firm footing at the very top. Firstly, it doubles up as both a concealer and foundation. If you have tried this you will know how seamlessly it blends into the skin, creating an instantly flawless second skin result. Furthermore, the Pan Stick succeeds where others fail on the most important factor – it lasts longer than a couple of weeks. Love, love, love!

2. The Superstar 22 Inch by Easilocks, £44.99, www.cultbeauty.co.uk

Oh…My…God. I think I have died and been reincarnated into a L’Oréal advert. This hair piece truly rocks. Made from non-human hair, yet these locks look unbelievably real. They would win in a Pepsi challenge against high price tag hair pieces any day of the week. The only point I should make is you must backcomb over the piece with your natural hair to achieve a blended-in and Insta-ready finish.

3.L’Oréal Infallible 24H Matte Liquid Foundation In Vanilla, £7.99 (30ml), www.boots.com

The long-lasting foundation provides a beautiful matte finish that even works on dry and more mature skin types. Simply gorgeous. Want even more perks? Check out the price!

4.Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume 2 Mascara, £25, www.charlottetilbury.com

It takes a lot to push me out of my MAC mascara comfort zone. However, upon checking out the sassy box I couldn’t wait to give it a go. This mascara in Black Vinyl makes me want to cry tears of joy (and then be even happier as it does NOT smudge one bit). Combining lash lengthening and thickening ingredients, the best-selling mascara will actually increase your lash thickness by a whopping 50% after just one single application! Furthermore, Legendary Lashes Volume 2 does not clump (HUGE PLUS) and offers a luscious lash finish of which any celeb would be proud. Each time I checked my lashes in the mirror I was very happy to see it hadn’t smeared under the eyelid or budged at all. My eyes remained in perfect and fit-for-a-Princess condition for the entire day and evening. A total win. Hooray!

5.The Ordinary High-Endurance Silicone Primer, £3.90 (30ml), www.lookfantastic.com

Those of you who love gorgeous vegan beauty finds, you need to check out this semi-permanent eyebrow gel by Incredibrow. In the box you will find the gorgeous brow gel complete with eye applicator that achieves effortlessly flawless results. If you don’t enjoy waking up and scaring the hell out of your other half due to a distinct lack of brow, that makes you look – well, totally freaky and a bit scary, this is a must-have. If, however, frightening the crap out of him when he opens his weary hungover eyes is one of those long-term relationship amusements, maybe give this one a miss!

4 Of The Best Concealers That Actually Deliver

Hey Lovelies!

I don’t know about you but I’m so tired of getting excited about trying new concealers only to discover they just don’t stand up to the job. We want concealers to do what they promise – conceal. We want concealers that make our skin look better – not cakey, older or patchy (even when we’ve spent more than long enough blending). I quite like some Rimmel products, but I found their “Hide The Blemish” concealer to be a huge fail.

Check out the best concealers around (and the best prices) that actually deliver true coverage and will improve your appearance!

1.Max Factor Pan Stik, £7.18, www.amazon.co.uk

This has to be one of my all-time favourite concealers. It instantly provides superior, yet natural coverage for pretty much every skin concern. The lightweight formula blends easily and lasts as long as your foundation (unlike the useless twist pen stick concealers), it is excellent value for money. I always come back to this concealer (for good reason). #happydays.

2.Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer, £20.40 (Was £24), www.debenhams.com

Nars is an awesome brand and their Soft Matte Concealer offers exceptional results. Achieving a natural yet full coverage, this product is lightweight and blends seamlessly. Whether you need to cover up dark circles (who doesn’t?), acne, blemishes, pigmentation or redness – the concealer will be like a complexion’s super hero. With its light-diffusing capabilities to blur and combining an array of proven skin-nourishing ingredients, this formula ensures your complexion will be nothing short of radiant. Furthermore, it is available in almost every shade you can think of.

3.Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer, £9.75 (RRP £19.50), www.feelunique.com

This is another concealer that ticks all the boxes. The Naked Skin Concealer provides coverage that is easily buildable, whilst guaranteeing a full and even coverage of which glides on seamlessly. Including incredible ingredients such as Japanese green tea (to diminish the appearance of lines), Matrixyl 3000 and Litchiderm (to enhance collagen production and protect), this concealer literally transforms the look of your skin. Yay!

4.MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, £18.50 (9ml), www.maccosmetics.co.uk

You didn’t think I could discuss great makeup without mentioning MAC, did you? Of course not. I hate concealers that (even when you use a setting spray) seem to either disappear completely, or stubbornly remain in unattractive vague patches on your face. Behold MAC’s Pro Longwear Concealer. The lightweight product feels amazing, is lightweight whilst simultaneously achieving excellent coverage and has serious staying power. I love this!
