Beauty Editor’s Weekly Favourites: Saturday, 27th April, 2019

Hey Lovelies!

I hope you are all having an awesome weekend. Here is my round-up of this week’s favourite beauty products:

1.MAC LIPGLASS / ELECTRIC WONDER, £15.50 (3.1 ml), www.asos.com

Mac cosmetics electric wonder lip glass

I’m totally obsessed with MAC’s new Lipglass. This highly pigmented lip gloss is amazing because you can either opt for the key trend of the high-gloss finish or achieve a subtler effect. The gloss looks incredible on its own and over you lippy, will condition your pout – and with a shade called Rock Starz, who can resist? The lip gloss is available in 5 gorgeous shades.

2.Beuti Skincare Beuti Sleep Elixir, £45, www.amazon.co.uk

This is one product my skin will never tire of. Seriously, I cannot rate this enough. Touted for being a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge (and apparently now Meghan Markle’s too), this facial oil offers some exceptional skin-loving qualities. The natural elixir is loaded with 14 precious plant oils that work together to reduce inflammation, nourish, smoothen and revitalise the skin. The result is a magnificently glowing complexion of beauty. Within a week of using this elixir I (and everyone around me) noticed a significant improvement in my skin. I have never looked back. This product should be on every beauty editor’s list of favourites.

3.The Inkey List Q10 Serum, £4.99, www.cultbeauty.co.uk

The reason this reaches the list is that it’s a no-fuss, targeted treatment that delivers the necessary ingredient at an affordable price. Q10 is so important in your skincare routine, due to the fact that it offers warrior-like protection against environmental damage, minimises fine lines, all whilst thoroughly hydrating the skin. Yaass!

1.IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Face & Neck Citrine Roller, $36, www.itcosmetics.com

Yes, it’s time to get ready for the warmer weather. Before you ditch those polo necks, make sure you are looking your best by using your face and neck roller. This brand-new cooling facial roller by IT Cosmetics is fantastic and treats the face, neck, décolleté and chest. Since using facial rollers I have noticed how much better my skin looks. They basically guarantee super-absorption of your chosen skincare ingredients and thus, superior results. YAASS!

Furthermore, the citrine is supposed to draw in clarity and focus – perfect for continuing with your new year’s resolutions and staying on track! N.b: Should you be a U.K resident you may need to head over to eBay for this one.

2.Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+/PA++++, £10.81, www.amazon.co.uk

It is a myth that we only need sunscreen during summer. In fact, the sun is potentially just as damaging during spring as it is in the middle of August.

If you’ve read my recent posts, you will probably be tired of hearing about my k-beauty obsession. However, I can’t state enough just how good this is. The Aqua Rich Watery Essence is so lightweight and quickly absorbed that you won’t realise you are wearing it. Additionally, being an SPF50+ and combining super-nourishing skincare ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, royal jelly extract and citrus mix makes this particular sunscreen one not to miss. I use this product daily and love, love, love it!

3.The Hero Project Glow Drop Dry Touch Facial Oil Plus Vitamin C, £19 (30ml), www.mankind.com

The added vitamin C ensures those pesky wrinkles are kept firmly at bay and works in unison with the other components to guarantee a silky soft complexion. Better yet, the Glow Drops includes 10 natural essential oils and is 98% natural. Perfect skincare for a happy and radiant springtime look.

4.Maybelline Eyebrow Tattoo, £9.99, www.superdrug.co.uk

I am a true sucker for the eyebrow pencil and until recently I would say it is a must-have product. That was until I tried Maybelline’s Eyebrow Tattoo. Within 20 minutes you can achieve perfect brows (I mean PERFECT) and it lasts for several days. No mess, no fuss. Obviously, unless you have an endless supply of these boxes in your bathroom cabinet I wouldn’t ditch the pencil just yet. However, this is fab if you are planning a spring break away (or festival) and don’t want the hassle of reapplying the brows twice daily! This product is available in 6 shades.

5.Rimmel Insta-Fix & Matte Finishing Powder, £4.99, www.superdrug.com
