It’s time to prepare for the most awesome Valentine’s Day yet. Whether you have a hot date lined up or just want to go out looking hot AF, make sure you have these boxes ticked:
Ok, so Valentine’s Day is on its way and according to the law of the sod, a blemish or two will be making its way to the centre of your face just in time to ruin the night. Not so this year – between now and then make sure you use your cleanser religiously. I love Viliv C Clean Off the Day By Dr. felix Betram. Combining aloe vera, almond oil and essential vitamins, this cleanser effortlessly removes dirt and makeup whilst simultaneously providing moisture and nutrients. By the time Valentine’s Day comes your face will look as fresh as a daisy.
However, should a blemish or two sneak past this amazing cleansing action, do not fear – take some witch hazel and dab it on the affected area. This truly works little miracles!
2.Rejuvenating Sheet Mask
We have so much to thank K-beauty for, and sheet masks are top of the list. Try Charlotte Tilbury’s Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask (£18). Including, vitamins, floral extracts, peptides and more, these nutrients seep deep into the skin to provide you with a salon-worthy facial in just 15 minutes! Your skin will look and feel amazing.
3.Treat Your Eyes
If you have had, like, zero sleep and your eye bags look like you’ve had an allergic reaction and then painted your eyeliner in the wrong place, you may feel like panicking. Instead, de-puff using an eye massager such as the fabulous Sensse Eye Massager. Afterwards place a slice of cucumber over each eye for 15 minutes, followed by some great antioxidant eye cream. Your eyes will soon be looking beautiful and sparkly once more.
4.Don’t Forget Your Teeth
If (like me) you love the tea, coffee and energy drinks – don’t fret. There are quick-fix resources without having to visit the dentist at short notice. Try Whiteglo’s Whitening Pen Brush. Your gnashers will now look gorgeous with your sexy bold red lippy. Phew!
There’s nothing worse than feeling unconfident on date night due to things that can be easily fixed. Dry or rough skin doesn’t need to be an issue. Invest in a great body scrub. I’m totally in love with the Body Shop’s Shea Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub (£6). It ticks all the boxes, can be used on sensitive skin and doesn’t cost a small fortune!
I always feel sexier when I am a little tanned. Unfortunately, my bank balance has kept me well and truly grounded in the freezing UK weather, so for now I would need a self-tan. I adore Cocoa Brown’s 1hour Tan and mitt – it’s fast, effective, non- streaky and very importantly, reasonably priced (£7.99).The result is a gorgeous and sun-kissed effect that no one can resist. Exactly what we’re after!
