6 Very Good Reasons For Wearing Sunscreen Every Day

Hey Lovelies!

Are you one of those people who rushes out to buy some sunscreen the moment the summer season commences? If so, it’s time to change. Your skin will thank you for it later on in life. Sunscreen provides that vital protection your skin needs throughout the year. Here are 6 reasons sunscreen should be a part of your daily skincare routine.

1.UV Rays

Many people believe (like I used to) that the sun is only harmful during summer months. So wrong! In fact, the sun’s rays are just as harmful in spring as they are in the middle of August.

2.Prohibits Skin Cancer

With 50% of all people set to encounter the C word (in some form or another) by 2020, there has never been a better reason to rush out and equip yourself with some SPF. There are a variety of skin cancers waiting to pounce – so don’t give them the chance.

3.Prevents Premature Skin Aging

Okay, so this is a puppy which reflects the opposite of aging. However, it’s too cute not to include and has wrinkly skin, so it kind of demonstrates my point. Think of sun cream as your secret weapon in the fight against those dreaded lines and wrinkles. Wearing it every day will stave off the years from mapping themselves across your face too soon.

4.Discoloration

If you want to avoid a face full of discoloration and dark spots (HELL, yeah) then sunscreen is imperative.

5.Blotchiness, Red Veins – No Thanks

The same can be said for preventing the onset of unwanted blotches that never seem to go, like – ever, and red veins that without the help of some expensive laser treatment will definitely never go. It’s far easier to slap a bit of sunscreen on your face.

6.Sun Burn

Granted, this is the UK – but miracles can happen. And with the population biting chunks out of the ozone layer like it’s a Michelin-starred chef’s signature chocolate desert, sun burn is ever-more likely.

In short people, wear your sunscreen. Like, every day people.
